What kind of tattoo is good to get?
REMEMBER - TATTOOS ARE PERMANENT. Since I’ve said that, I want you to get a tattoo that you want to live with for the rest of your life. A tattoo should reflect you, your personality, your basic core values, your heritage, or a beautiful design you’ve loved for years. A tattoo should not be an impetuous decision. We also advise our clients, between the ages of 18-25 to be especially careful on placement of tattoos. We don’t think it is advisable for our younger clients to get what we call public tattoos (those tattoos that are not covered easily by a short sleeved shirt). We live and work in south Texas and most employers are still very conservative. We have to respect their opinions if we want a job. In addition, it may not be very romantic, but we don’t recommend that you get a name or initials tattooed on you unless they are a relation through blood. Like I said, it may not be very romantic sounding but unfortunately, tattoos last longer in today’s society than most relationships!
