Does it hurt?
We haven’t had to strap anyone down (at least not that I can recall) and your worst enemy is your mind. People work themselves up to a point of high anxiety and it is not necessary. I’m going to hurt your wallet more than your body.
Not as much as you think. Most piercings are very quick. Some are very intense but short-lived and some piercings, like the tongue, hurt very little. It depends on the composition of the material that’s being pierced as to whether it will hurt much. Most often people look surprised when the piercing is over and say, “That’s it?” Yep that’s it and we stomp on your toes when you get up so you feel you’ve received your moneys worth.
Tattoos range from feeling like an irritation to pain. Location of the tattoo often determines the amount of discomfort. For example, a tattoo on the meaty part of the arm is relatively painless but a tattoo on or near a bone can be painful. But even though it is painful, it is endurable; otherwise you wouldn’t see so many tattoos.
